Milan could reportedly sign the new deal with Zlatan Ibrahimovic today or after Wednesday’s match against Sassuolo.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Swede will return against the Neroverdi, having served a one-match ban against Genoa last time.
Milan are already thinking about the future and the 39-year-old will, according to the newspaper, sign a new deal worth €6.5m plus bonuses either today or after the match tomorrow.
The parties have already reached an agreement for the extension and Ibrahimovic is ready to commit his future to the Diavolo.
Ibrahimovic has played 17 Serie A games in 2020-21, contributing 15 goals in the process, helping Milan sit second behind Inter in the League.
His current deal expires in June 2021, but will extend with a further season at Milanello.
